Mid 19th century Texas cattle industry. Cattle rustlers and the men who first sought to stop them.
Texas was still recovering from the devastating effects of the civil war. Money to be made, was quickly realized standing on the hoof in the south Texas diamond area and the Northern states were starving for beef. Cattlemen sprang up everywhere to cash in on this enterprise. An enterprise fraught with danger from the wild longhorn cattle, weather, Indians and rustlers.
