Part #1 = Jenny, Billy’s sister, is missing, and an imposter from another world is trying to take her place. Billy, after discovering a mysterious key hidden away by his grandfather, finds that he is able to travel through mirrors into this other world using this magical key.
Billy meets the evil man, known simply by the people that fear him as the man with no name. This man is terrorizing this world and its people, turning most of them into mindless slaves to do as he commands. He must be stopped!
In Billy's quest to rescue his sister and grandfather, Billy finds himself facing many dangers and fearsome creatures, but also making several unusual friends along the way.
Part #2 = Billy, searching for his sister and grandfather within the strange world beyond the magic of the mirrors, bravely returns to the Ivory Palace to look for the queen's magician.
Part #3 = After discovering a way into the Grey Domain, Billy continues to quest for a way to release The Man With No Name's hold over the land and free its people, his sister and grandfather included.

Billy pulled his hand back, afraid that it may become trapped within the mirror and especially now that the chimes had ceased. His hand appeared normal, as did the surface of the mirror, but his skin felt chilled. He stared in amazement from his hand to the mirror, back to his hand, and then finally to the old mysterious grandfather clock. Could this be where his little sister had gone? Into the mirror? He's told that the evil wizard has to be slain by the Sword of Anthrowst in order to send the creatures back to where they came from. Two thieves, an elf and her human companion, join Vordin in the quest as does an amateur wizard. The mysterious being they encounter, half human and half spider, is she friend or foe? Will they fall prey to the horrid evil monsters, trapped in a web of spells and ripped to pieces by huge dagger-like teeth and claws? How are they to even find this sword, wherever it may be, and the wizard for whom they only know a name? Encountering a mischievous fairy queen and her followers, vicious monsters, giant spiders within ancient underground passages, bounty hunters after the two thieves, plus so much more. Could there be bandits within the forest or a werewolf lurking about as a few believe? Worst of all, is the presence of a mysterious and evil vampiric being with immense power, called simply The Black Shadow. If he had a hand in this group coming together, what purpose does he intend for them? He wants them to complete their quest, saving Zaylyn from the wizard and his army of creatures, but why, especially when he could easily take care of the problem himself?

The Killnarin, summoned into Zaylyn, were sent back by the slaying of Dranngore with the Sword of Anthrowst, but not before they killed the members of the wizard's guild. The destruction of the dragon's crystal, that the guild had been using to absorb the magic and life-force of others for themselves, also released the dragon, Baracken, who had been subdued and imprisoned.
Unopposed by his brother, the dragon king, still deep in a magical slumber, his plan is to recruit an army of followers and reclaim lands deemed as belonging to dragon-kind, regardless of being inhabited by humanoid races. Due to his imprisonment, Baracken is unaware of the Dragonites, human-dragons, existing for generations now. Once discovered, this will infuriate him to no end.
Nodwel, the dwarf, is more concerned with protecting those against the werewolf.
The thieves' guild's attention is drawn, due to having two half-Dragonite members and fearing Candra's continued involvement with The Black Shadow.
The all powerful demonic vampire-like being, The Black Shadow, with his growing involvement with the group, the people of Zaylyn, and recent events, many begin to fear that this new threat of the dragon is the least of their worries.
