A baby boomer read geared toward the female audience. Set to music of the times and centered around a main character whom is obsessed with her clothing and one man she cannot seem to have, in particular. Tormenting times, alcoholic bouts mystery and intrigue all enter in on her life.
It was unconscionable that one merely went into one's closet and grabbed something off the rack to wear. The clothing had to be perfect for the occassion, the drape, hand and feel of the garment, the color, the length of the sleeves, the style all were considered for the event as well as for the climate. |
