When I was a teenage evangelist, traveling and preaching in Pentecostal Churches, people seemed to enjoy hearing my stories more than they did my sermons. I traveled during weekends, school breaks, and summer vacations to churches over much of the United States, from South Dakota to South Carolina, and from Washington State to Washington, DC. Everywhere I went, people would ask me to tell them stories of how I grew up.
