I was able to compile this dictionary because I was infused with the demonic spirit of the author of THE DEVIL'S DICTIONARY, Ambrose ("Bitter") Bierce, who produced his most well known writing in the same city where I live, San Francisco. Without the influence of Bierce, not even the idea for my dictionary would have germinated. The book also provides details about how that games inventor, Professor Ralph Anspach, beat Monopoly producers Parker Brothers/General Mills in a 10-year litigation war during which he discovered the 80-yer-old theft.
Professor Ralph Anspach, inventor of Anti-Monopoly, took on the purported owners of the Monopoly game, Parker Brothers/General Mills, in a 10-year-litigation war over his right to use the word "monopoly" in a game title.
