Before attending the gala benefit honoring environmentalist, Dr. Horatio Banks, in Bay St. Louis, Mrs. Julia McKenna (Aunt Jewels) and her boyfriend Captain Eric VonBoatner go to pick up a 1927 Model T. Ford she has won two months ago in Cruisin The Coast raffle. They stop by a little shop called Maggie May's and it is there she and the dog are kidnapped! Mystery, mayhem and merriment follow as her niece, Bea Winslow Private Investigator and her boyfriend, Sheriff Jim Travis weave their humor and crime solving tactics through the Bay to find Aunt Jewels and Maggie May!
