The Sheriff, Wyatt Hawkins, filed papers on February 13, 1783, objecting to the use of his house as the only place of confinement of debtors and others. The lists, of many men called to Jury duty, gives names and dates of when they resided in Warren County.

The Eight Generations after Thomas Cross Christmas began 28 years ago when I started looking for my Grandfather, Robert Lloyd Christmas. After years of research I located Granddad's family in Arkansas. I have designated this book to cover 200 years from Thomas Cross Christmas to Robert Lloyd Christmas. The book includes many of the documents I have transcribed through the years. In the Appendix you will find deeds, wills, court cases and military records.
This book contains as many of the family members as I was able to locate from Thomas Cross Christmas 1690 to Robert Lloyd Christmas 1890 and all the cousins and other relations. It covers ancestors and descendants from Virginia, Georgia, North Carolina, Mississippi, Alabama, Arkansas, Indiana, California, Texas, Tennessee, Kentucky and other states.
