This is an early chapter book for 7-9 year olds about a little girl called Trudy;it has many illustrations.Trudy decides to share her cookies with Jesus and, on her way, she shares them with others such as an old lady and a small boy who has lost his money. She eventually reaches the church with only one of her five cookies left. The story is written as if a grandmother was telling her grandchildren about her adventure 60 years earlier. There is a recipe and music written by the author.

By accident he meets Seamus Maloney from Cork Ireland ; his family left because of the Potato famine and he is very poor. He can't read. Josh offers to help him and Seamus is delighted.
