Phil Boydon is an army brat, a veteran traveler of the world, though rather shy. After two years in Japan and a brief stay in Massachusettes he arrives in Northern Virginia towards the end of his seventh grade year. There he meets Elaine Goodman, an out-going classmate.
First they are friends, then enemies, then they fall in love.
Just as it seems that the world smiles on them they learn that Phil will go away to boarding school and each minute becomes more precious. And each minute alone becomes more dangerousl. Then disaster strikes. |
