This is a book I wrote in which I share my ideas and methods for surviving the worst of times. I have lived a very basic lifestyle over the years, which has allowed me to get along quite well on very little money, yet I have still enjoyed a reasonable level of comfort as well. I describe all that I experienced of note during my days as a runaway hippie during the period from 1964 through 1969. I also describe the horrors of my dysfunctional childhood at the hands of my extremely violent and brutal ex-marine father, who nearly killed me during one of his drunken rages when I was 13 years old {which was the reason I ran away in 1964 at the age of 14} I try my best to also describe in great detail just what it was like to be taking lots of psychedelic drugs back then as well.
