At the Skylight with Matilda is a delightful read for the young adult and women of all ages. Because of the many requests to learn more about Matilda,I decided to write this second book. Like the reader, I too have become attatched to her life. Most of all, the characters that surround her seem real and you will gravitate toward them, too. Enjoy!

What's going on with Matilda now?
Matilda has flown home to London to care for her mother who has been hurt. Matilda tells the children she will return in two weeks. Attatched to Matilda, they are upset she is leaving, even though it will be a short time. Matilda dislikes the damp London flat where her nmother resides.
Meanwhile, Matilda has become engaged to Mark Rosen who helps run the family's hotel in Miami, Florida.
Matilda's family and her best friend are shocked because Matilda has only known Mark for one week and has constantly stated she will never marry.

She graduates and is hired by Mrs.Sue Evergreen, the children's paternal grandmother. Richard's wife, Sarah, died suddenly and he has to cope. The book Matilda is inspirational. It's great for teens to grandparents and follows three families and their everday lives. The settings are set in Twinsburg, Miami Florida, and London.
The characters are real, and all have something to share with Matilda. She is not the average nanny; she loves the children and is a good nanny.
