'A Dreamer's Weavings' is a series of short stories, as well as a few slightly longer ones, that delve into the lives of a variety of different people, of various fantasy races. From dragon to demon, sea elf to undead star elf, all the way to the poor guy, pitifully human, left guarding a girl from her vampire lover, who understandably seems to be suffering second thoughts.
Be drawn into the world of a child forced to leave his family and his world behind, if he has any hope to survive, a council of vampires experiencing a potential shift in power, and a creature caught between two worlds, whose only chance to be whole, is to sacrifice the life of the one he loves. And face the journey of a young woman, held into this world beyond death, who must somehow make peace with an existence she never chose.
Life offers many choices... Some lead to salvation, and some lead deeper into the darkness than you ever cared to go.
It is in waking that we forget the world beyond the everyday, denied the lifeblood of magic, and in dreaming,that we begin to remember again...
Join these stories that lay within, each a brief glimpse into a life that has never known our world. Vampires and dragons, demons and things undead, and those blessed, or cursed, enough to share their lives.

All her life she's been hunted for the sake of a father she never knew. He was a demon who disappeared a lifetime before, her mother in tow, leaving their only daughter behind... Amilee did not go to the old woman’s room, appearances none withstanding. Instead, when the hall turned, she went straight… Which meant leaving through the window of her matron’s lost daughter.
It made her smile, not really knowing why, to see the deep scores left in the sill by Eliana’s father. The shattered lock that had never been repaired. The bars of the windows, which still yawned from the places they’d been rent.

There had been peace among the ordered dragons for millenia, ever since the humans were driven from the freedom-loving creatures' home. There was no reason to suspect an attack from the shaded dragons of the north, whom they'd had no interaction with in so long. And it certainly shouldn't have started with a vision laid upon the wings of the next heir-daughter of Rose-Purple.
But to a race that has long since lost their fire, and any claim on ancient magick, this forewarning may be the only chance they have to survive an enemy that still possesses both. Though she expects no one to believe the dreaming, she finds that both she, and the prophecy, have secretly been awaited by some..

Watched by one who knows the truth, who is watched in turn by one who loves him, the trio fall deeper into the unexplained, dream-like world that has formed to accommodate what doesn't belong there.
He is a good man...
He would not wish to believe that his soul, such as it is, is defined by the blood his strange existence bears... Were it not for the heavy stain of death he can never seem to wash from it.
It's such a simple, unremarkable place to find either demon or angel, much less both. No one knows when they came, no one knows why, but while it is certain that one protects those who dwell within it, the other seeks nothing but the blood of those who would dare trespass uninvited in his home...
