| | | Burning Poems about the burning issues in our lives.
Overview
In Burning, his most recent book from Publish America, Jonathan Bolick looks at the issues of life and the world that are burning. Within our lives, there are things all around us "burning": love, hate, war, and work are just a few examples of the things that burn us. Jonathan looks at these times and scenes and places you there with his brand of hard-hitting poetry. From writing to unemployment to loneliness, read along and feel the flames of the Burning. | | | | Diamonds from Coal Personal poems about life and existence.
These poems came from the heart. The "flagship" that started all of this was a poem entitled, "Love, Dad", a poem I wrote after reading the Bible to my son before bed. He hugged me and told me he loved me and I sat down and wrote the poem as it is today, without re-writes. It was accepted to The Red River Review and off we go!
| | | | Journey: New and Selected Poems A collection of poems as well as some new ones from Jonathan.
Years of writing and decades of life have given Jonathan a wealth of experiences. He has written these poems to remember and to share these times and his journey. There is a Chinese proverb that says, "The journey is the reward." Read through these well-crafted poems and feel a part of Jonathan's journey, and possibly recognize some points in your own journey. | | | | Parading Around in Solitude My third book.
| | | | Some Average Poetry and other everyday truths My second book, published March 2009, by Publish America
Working as a convenience store clerk and coaching his sons baseball teams gave Jonathan a world of topics and stories to write about and here they are....

In the Whirlwind
by Tichaona Chinyelu
|
In the Whirlwind is a poetic storm that frees history from the cages of corruption and puts it in the hands of everyday people. Words are weaved into a new fashion statement that has nothing to do with runways but everything to do with projects! |
