Blood in the Ground is the third book of the Ascension Trilogy. Peyton Costello has delivered Opossum to the authorities to serve justice for the murders of Peyton’s parents. Blood in the Ground represents the third and final installment of the Ascension Trilogy. The trilogy should not be misconstrued as a three-part sequel.
