Throughout history countless men have gotten away with buzzing like bees and flying from Rose to Rose, dropping seed into naïve women and leaving them entrenched in muck. Hosea’s predicament flips the typical script. It is a [show-and-tell] for the prophet (personally), and also for Israel and the world entire. The prophet of the LORD will learn (from his marital discourse) how GOD laments when we are unfaithful to HIM.

The LORD’s unique relationship with HIS chosen people is publicized throughout the collection of books called the Bible (English) or biblia (Latin). The Bible was inspired by GOD and, it was written by men of HIS own choosing. In these books, GOD promised unconditional blessings, gifts and a few ifs to HIS chosen people. There have been times when the gifts and ifs were misconstrued.

Our world is changing at a rapid pace. The uneasiness felt by the majority is real. Everytime we think that things can't get any worse, things get worst. Being at peace is close to impossible unless you have the peace that only Gods Word (and the Holy Spirit) can bring.

The Bible is not a book that you can peruse page by page. Studying God's Wod requires devotion, time, effort and most of all the Holy Spirit. Reading what others (who love our Lord) write about the Bible can be beneficial, although it is good to study the Word of God for yourself after you recognize that no scripture stands alone (on its on merit)./b>
