I have had a long career teaching science from Middle School through Graduate School. In my teaching career I became interested in inspiring girls to enter science fields. For the last 20 years of my career, I taught forensic science, and as a child loved Nancy Drew. The ideas of writing a mystery series by marrying my love of forensics with a young female sleuth crystalized, and I created the Annie Tillery Mystery Series. I call the books "Nancy Drew meets CSI"> It was the perfect way to create that female role model I was looking for. My stories have intriguing plots with good forensic science, and my heroine, Annie Tillery, appeals to girls and moms alike.
My two books are "The Madonna Ghost" and "Girl with Pencil, Drawing".

Accomplishments: I won the Science Teaching Award at graduation, with a Cum Laude degree.
I was named Seaford H.S. teacher of the year in 1989.
The American Assn. of University Women cited me for inspiring young women to enter fields of science.
