I began typing little stories about animals and birthdays when I was four. As a teenager, I was tied down with strips of sheets until my arm turned blue, locked in a small room without a blanket, shot full of haloperidol, assaulted, exploited, strip-searched, my life scrutinized under a magnifying glass, threatened with terrible punishments, traumatized too many times.

"The Tree Outside the Window" is a fictionalized account of my experiences with schizophrenia and the mental health system. It was originally published by Denlingers Publishers, Ltd. in April, 2000.
My second effort, "In Handcuffs," is about the methadone clinic and what it's like to live as an addict. Depicts characters and situations that are very real.
Third, and most recent to date, is a short story collection entitled, "Get Out of My Grape Factory." This is a collection of many diverse, short and long, fun, tragic, and enlightening stories that I've put together over the past years.
