Not much here. Revised poems that I wrote in my youth. For kids.

I walked through the long parade,

There were men, women, cats and dogs,

of every race and age;

I felt the heat and thunder

of a mean stampede.

I thought I saw someone I knew,

I looked around for you.

40-year-old one haha. Just want to run it by.

The world was in my hand and I could paint with many colors,

Careful strokes of pink and white,

Horizons golden rose

And I painted dreams.

These are good and I enjoyed them. Oldies but goodies.

The first poem is very dramatic. It could be anything. I remember distinctly watching the Miss America's Dairyland pageant with the girls coming down the street in a convertible. They were followed by a white wall that overcame them and us as we jumped in our car to avoid being pelted by hail that gathered to about 3 inches at our feet. Everyone certainly stampeded for cover. Don't know what happened to those girls.

The second poem is pure youthful genius. Kudos!

Visions of A Skylark Dressed in Black by Aberjhani

“The woman or man who is a poet, or fiction writer, or playwright, or all of these, is engaged constantly in a jazz ballet of vocabularies, passions, genders, histories, perspectives, death, love, and life. The music of revelation announces itself to
