Myself, Rene & her aunt Stella went to the beach today...
...PIC: by me of a nice looking boat just a short distance off the beach... This poem was written by me a night before we were to make the life/death crossing of the Sahara desert from Agadez in the Niger Republic to Tamarrase... Pic was taken as our catamaran was sailing away from our cruise ship while docked in Aruba, our first stop in our 7-day cruise. Ship is the Adventure ... I wrote this sitting aboard a narrowboat sailing along England''s Shropshire Union Canal
The concrete cows are a well known feature of the ''New Town... Pusser's is the green roofed bldg in the background...neat place to eat don't ya think...? Ocracoke, NC, could very well be where I could live out my life, if I had the money to buy! Around the horizons rim,
some halfway up a limestone wall,
carved were hieroglyphics where
someone before me used to
climb and whirl,
