It is full of information regarding an array of authors writing in all genres.   I appreciate all the love and support each of my readers have shown me throughout the years.Without your support I could not have achieved my dream of being an author. After 34 years, I retired from the United States government. My husband, Lamont, and I moved from the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area to central Florida.  We live in a retirement community called The Villages, Florida.  We have two beautiful daughters, Nicole who lives in Miami, Florida and Natalie who lives in Tampa, Florida with her husband, Scott. My passion is writing.  When I was a young girl I was told to find another career because authors didn't make much money.  I have to say, my teacher and parents were right--authors write because it's their passion and every now and then one you make money.  I had a wonderful, fulfilling career working for the United States government until I retired.  Despite my success as a manager, I always knew something was missing.  As part of my job, I traveled all over the United States. To occupy the empty hours when I was away from my family, I wrote novels. I submitted them to publishers and received nothing, but rejection letters but it didn't discourage me. Finally, at the age of 60, my dream came true. In January 2006, my first book Sunday Golf was published. Don't ever give up on your dream. It is never too late to achieve your goals.

I belong to the Lady Lake Florida Writers Association writing group that encourages writers through critiquing, workshops, lectures, book fairs, and conferences. I also belong to several writing groups in The Villages, Florida and sponsor The Write Corner for writers. I am a lifetime member of the Florida Writers Association. I am an Eastern Star, enjoy bowling, reading, golfing, Mah Jongg and socializing with friends.
