Margot began writing for business, newsletters, articles, manuals, policies, and other boring. but necessary tools of business. What her passion had been was to research and write about her interests in non-fiction books. Business books continued to fuel that desire, writing more than 21 non-fiction books.
Ms. Dillard offers books related to her interests and experience. From her childhood of "playing in the dirt," she continued to love gardening, writing several books and many articles on the topic. Her love of wine came later, and she immersed herself in growing grapes, to wine courses, selling wines, and finally writing wine books.
She offers Essential Oil books based on her experience and a certificate in aromatherapy, Essential Oil Recipes: 200+ Recipes, Let's Learn About Essential Oils, and Basic Essential Oil Kit. Other books she has written provide a lighthearted look at life while giving interesting insights, Life By the Glassful, Divorce...I Said I Do, But I Don't and Life In The Garden. Others offer insight on improving yourself, from the book A to Z of Success and continuing with her Journal Series, Living Fully, which includes Living An Affirmative Life, and Eternally Grateful.
Eternally Grateful is a journal to help you identify and reinforce your efforts to improve your life and focus on your happiness. Keeping a journal provides you a declaration that provides emotional support or encouragement to counteract all the negativity in life. You see the negatives on your news feeds, in newspaper headlines, from all around. It is easy to become overwhelmed and succumb to these negatives around you. Eternally Grateful helps you focus on your positives.
Her gardening and beekeeping inspired her book Planting for Honeybees and Pollinators, one of her best sellers.
Mind, Body, and Soul is a journal for helping with your success and preparing for daily life with 365 days of quotes. The book was available in paperback and hardcover and will soon be available as an eBook. Puppy Training 101: Easier Than You Think was released in August 2024 and is based on her work with several trainers and her dogs being trained.
Her passion for history has led her to work on a book about the women of the Civil War and the legacy and changes that affect us all. Hopefully, this will be a 2025 release. In addition, Margo is starting her first cozy mystery fiction series.
While she no longer writes for online publications she keeps busy with finding and developing more books ideas and spending time gardening and with her many grandchildren.
Accomplishments: French Ministry of Agriculture published one of Margot's articles, "Thomas Jefferson, Father of American Wines". She has just published her fifth book entitled "What's All The Wine-ing About," a guide for understanding the history of wine and it's growth in America.
