Suggested recording script:

1. Introduce yourself:

Give your name
Give your geographical location (optional)
Provide a short 5 to 20 second biographical statement about yourself (optional)
Mention your inspiration when writing this and other works (optional)

2. Introduce the work to be read:

Give the title of the work to be read

3. Present the work:

Read it in a clear well understood voice!

4. Closing:

Thank the listener for his/her time.
Invite them to visit your AUTHORSDEN website for more works.
DO NOT mention any non-AuthorsDen websites. Inclusion of such will result in the removal of the entire post.

Avoid the following DON'Ts when recording...

Don't exceed the Maximum Time Allowance: Works that exceed the time allowances will be rejected.
Don't include Background Music: As this may be found distracting by some we ask that background music not be included.
Don't include Sound Effects: Audio files with sound effects will not be considered.
Don't clutter your audio file with too much information: Refrain from providing the following...
- telephone numbers,
- mailing addresses,
- emails addresses,
