I will always consider myself an aspiring writer gaining more knowledge about the craft of writing with each story.  I enjoyed drawing and painting throughout my youth, and had aspirations of becoming a cartoonist. I used writing as an outlet while serving in the U.S. Navy, mostly poetry, and fell in love with projecting the images so easily conceived with a drawing—in written words. Currently I am serving in the U.S. Army as a Captain, stationed in Kansas with my beautiful wife and wonderful children.      Thirst of Youth is my second novel. My first, Just Another Girl, was published as an ebook by Stonehedge Publishing.
