Goals. The ones I've set, achieved, and strive for are what motivates and influences me. The first goal I can remember was to play second base in the Major Leagues. And you never, never know,;every second baseman with more talent than I have could break their arms all at once, and then someone would look for a 36-year-old, slow, never-had-it has been. I'm the guy. The first goal I set as far as writing was to be published by the time I was 30. I guess I failed at that too, I was 31 when One Hit Wonders came out. For inspiration, the game of baseball and this wonderful thing we call life is all I need. A new goal is to publish 24 books in my life, and I can't wait to check that one off the list.
