Information
When I decided to become a writer, I was horrified to discover how difficult it was! There were so many challenges to overcome. I started to view the obstacles as Monsters who simply needed to be tamed.
I’ve battled wild Day Job Monsters in the office wilderness, faced surprise attacks from a growling Depression Monster, and been paralyzed by the Frustration Monster, who grinned happily as he stood right in my way. I want to help other writers deal with their Monsters, and have launched a website to help achieve that goal: http://www.Monster-Whisperer.com.
My PhD in English reflects my long-term obsession with the written word, and mania for reading. These days, I'm a professional writer, editor, and online trainer, working with words and ideas to empower and inform clients and students from around the world.
