I was born March 28, 1970 in Hammond, Louisiana. I lived in Independence, Louisiana for 37 years. I am a proud graduate of the 1988 class of Independence High School. During my high school years I was a member of the English club. I was a member of the Independence High School Marching Band in which I play the clarinet. After high school I furthered my education by attending Hammond Area Vocational School in which I became a nationally and state certified Emergency Medical Technician. I have attended Southeastern Louisiana University in the field of Psychology for one year. I have attended the Area Health Educational Center in the field of Basic Computerized Accounting. I have been inspired to write since the early age of 15. My favorite poets are Edgar Allen Poe and Ralph Waldo Emmerson. Currently I reside in Hammond, Louisiana with my two beautiful children, Taylor and Kaitlynn.
