I began writing just a couple of years ago.  There were many ideas in my head and I wasn't telling the world about how I felt on different subjects.  I had become quite depressed and found that writing helped me get my mind off of things that caused this depression.  Instead of acting out my aggressions, I now put them down on paper giving me a true satisfaction. I have chosen to write dark fiction.  It is a genre that I enjoy and it fits my needs of writing.  I have written a novel called Keeper.  It expresses the demented thinking of a poor individual that has chosen to take matters into his own hands and punish members of a well known secret society. It is a murder mystery and also my first attempt at serious writing.   My background is not that of a trained writer.  I was a Registered nurse for a period of 16 years.  Being in this profession has given me an unbelievable background of experience that I tend to draw upon for my writings. I am also a professional truck driver which gives me another background to refer to when I am writing.  I base a lot of my characters on people that I have met or have observed in truck stops.  A very interesting group of individuals.

I am also a member of the Eagle Mountain Writer's Workshop in Lake Worth, Tx.

As far as other achievements. I have not been writing long enough to receive any as of yet but i am working on it.
