I'M A WRITER EXTRAORDINAIRE -- THAT'S BECAUSE I WRITE ABOUT EXTRAORDINARY THINGS!
I love science fiction, horror, and fantasy, and do write on all these subjects. Major author influences in my life have been David Eddings, Raymond Feist, Isaac Asimov, Ray Bradbury, Robert Heinlein, Andre Norton and so many others. I was an avid reader of all these writers when I was a child, and still am!
I've been writing full time for about 4 years now, with a host of sci-fi and horror short stories to show for it. These have been with such magazines as Aberrant Dreams, AlienSkin Magazine, Sonar IV, Fables, Fifth Dimension, Uncial Press, Planetary Stories, Jim Baen's Universe -- well, you get the idea. I also write factual articles on how to write in the above genres, as well as just general factual articles and op-ed pieces that in some way pertain to these subjects. I'm now a resident columnist on science fiction for AlienSkin Magazine, and have been for almost four years.
My novel, now out with Awe-struck E-books, is a time-travel romance, entitled Lost Echoes. I also write under several pen names, as well, and have one other novel already out, and one due out in November, 2009 under a pen name. So things are going well!
My main motivation for writing about science fiction and such is my own intense curiosity about "what's out there." I want to know. I have to know! Fermi's Paradox seems to be solidly in place, and I can't understand why -- there should be other civilizations besides our own in this universe. Of course, with all the UFO sightings of late, maybe they aren't "out there," but rather "already here?" Who knows? But whoever does, I'd like them to let me know!

Accomplishments
Novel with Awe-Struck E-book, Lost Echoes, with many favorable reviews. A long series of science short stories, currently one with Planetary Stories, a space opera, Bug-Eyed Monsters. Another novella due out in the first hardcover edition of Aberrant Dreams' anthology, The Awakening. This one was a request piece, as was the story for Planetary Stories. Also, I have an adventure story coming out with Pulp Spirit Magazine, so if pure adventure is your thing, this is a story for you.
