I was motivated to write the book on behalf of all of the students that I teach.   I was angry with how our young children come to school already behind.  Too many people want to have children, but they don't want to do the required parenting to raise them.  I am frustrated with the amount of work that teachers have to do and it takes more away from teaching them the skills they need to be very productive citizens in society.   I'm on a mission to bring national attention to the lack of parenting, parental involvement and permissive parenting ta we have in our communities.
