Like many, my passion for writing began in childhood.  When my 2nd grade class was told to write a short story for a half-hour on Friday, I would take it home for the weekend and come back with twenty pages.  I wrote my first (albeit, unreadable) novel in the ninth grade.  By college I had turned my attention to film and have spent the last twenty years as a producer, writer and director of film and television.  My latest credits include "Uncross the Stars," featuring Academy Award nominee Barbara Hershey and Golden Globe winner Ron Perlman, and "The Job," starring Daryl Hannah. I was also just in Bucharest, Romania on set for the production of "Glass House," a WWII drama that I wrote. Though I've made my career primarily in film and television, I never lost my love of writing prose. My first novel, "Apollo Main," is available on Amazon.com, and my second novel, "A Full Measure of Happiness," has been making the rounds at writer's conferences with some contest success. My latest book, and first non-fiction venture, is "The Do-It-Yourself Bailout: How I reduced my credit card debt from $212,000 to $30,000 in six months and saved over $100,000."  With its timeliness to the current economic situation (in fact, there was a NY Times article on credit card debt settlement just this week, Mid-June 2009), it has launched me into a whole new career as a public speaker, debt settlement expert and radio and television guest. My greatest influences as a novelist came from the classics, Dickens, Hardy, Wilkie Collins, Doesteyevsky.  For 20th Century, Herman Wouk, Ayn Rand, Nabokov. 

I consider it an achievement that I've made a good living as a writer and film maker for twenty years!
