INFLUENCES: I don't really have any writing influences, although I do have several favorite writers. My primary motivator is the causes I write about. I am heavily influenced by Native American teachings, spiritual and recovery principles, and driven with a passion to help people heal. My heroes are the ordinary people who set forth to do great things. They do so with a great humility, and many times live their entire life without recognition. My heroes are those that taught me how to be ALIVE, that showed me there is more to life than existing. Review by Elle Jordan This is a true story. It is about a man who battled demons from early childhood thorough adulthood. It is a disturbing story about one man’s fight to gain self esteem, acceptance, and finally love. He depicts the struggles with brutal honestly, baring his feelings with a raw, stark language which makes his feelings so real to the reader. They actually come through the story and you feel as if you are taking this journey with him.   I think that every therapist or self help group should have this book in their office. It would be a useful tool to help people who have been abused or in similar situations. At the end of this story, the author gives important messages to anyone who has encountered abuse of any kind. Congratulations to Robert Allen Savage for having the courage to come forth with his story and put it before people so that he might help and prevent anyone from going through his nightmare. This is a definite must read book.  

My greatest achievements in life are my kids. What an awesome thing to be a father. Great Spirit found me worthy of these miracles.
