My motivation for writing poetry is "love and death" - when there is great love in life and that is lost through death....how do we cope.....how do we just carry on....can we ever unite - while alive - on that plane where our loved one has gone.   Sadness abounds at times...and for those left behind it can be crippling.....we are in a sense left with no answers...left wondering.....left sad and with a void. Love is such a strong emotion....yet the sadness when it is lost can be deadly to ones desire to go on.....so we search for ways to speak of our love and remember it forever....and that is poetry.
