I am a retired engineer who has always had an interest in writing.  I read a book a week and have done so for over forty years!  My favorite authors are Joseph Wambaugh and Jack London although anything by Grisham or Clancy will make the reading list. Born in a small midwestern farming village, my stories reflect the people and nostalgic events occuring there.  Sherwood, Ohio is a real village in America's heartland, a place where a small boy from a poor family could allow his imagination to run wild along the railroads, creeks, woodlands and farm fields in the area. My book, "Sulfur Creek" started as a personal history and later evolved into a full-length novel with unusual and very strong characters and gripping ironies.
