I am the daughter of a WWII veteran who watched the VA cut veteran benefits but didn't do anything until it was too later for her father, got involved in protests in 1990s and now again in 2009.  I met men from different wars, WWII, Korea, Vietnam and now Iraq who are trying to keep VA land for VA use.  They protest and ask for health care promised to them.  They laid their life down for this great country and some have come back wounded, some never came back and the government is not fulfilling its promises.

Personal achievements: Los Angeles Valley College and California State University Northridge Speech Team - Numerous trophies for public speaking.
