I am a wife. I am a mother. I AM a writer. I listen to somber music when I write. I don't like standard replies. If you don't like it, tell me. If I don't know what's wrong with it I can't fix it! A positive attitude can change the world. If not the whole world, at least the world around you. I love the odd things in life and I can never take myself TOO seriously. There are plenty of writers better than me, but they don't have my stories.   The first time that I held my book in my hands I cried. Sure it was simply self-published. No publishing company deemed me worthy of publication. That feeling, though, was still present. I finished something! What's better, people actually LIKE it! There is nothing that can beat the sound of an intellectual gushing about how awesome your stories are and how YOUR book is reminiscent of something Ernest Hemmingway wrote! Yes, I am self-published, but I am proud of what I have produced. Me, a girl from small town Virginia! That's me, in a nutshell. Happy me. Sad me. Writer me. Welcome to my world.
