Jannelle Benjamin is a creative girl who is just like every other teenager. She grew up in the U.S. Virgin Islands, where it is mostly sunny and stunning. Living in the Caribbean is great for her because she’s been here her whole life. She’s been to Puerto Rico; the experience was awesome for her. For the first time, she saw how huge a mall can be. She started to write short stories when she was around twelve years old. She got inspired by reading many books. Her all-time favorite book is called Walk Two Moons, written by Sharon Creech. To her that book was awesome! Even though she is starting the process of becoming an author, she’s still a teen. She loves to shop. She loves listening to music. Everyday she likes to listen to some of her favorite artist songs on her iPod. She is also interested in designing bags, she already has amazing sketches and is just waiting to be discovered. She wants to share her style of bags to the world and hope to bring out new styles of bags. Yes she is only sixteen but wants to let kids her age know that you can achieve your dreams no matter what age you are -just strive for it and no matter what failures come your way, keep holding on to it and one day you will reach it. When she finishes high school she wants to study courses dealing with fashion design and journalism.
