I am from the District and I have motivations that can part the Red Sea. I listen to song writers that make timeless music like Raheem Devaughn. I listen to street poets that depict real images and results of life like Wale and Nas. My motivation for writing a book is the happy ending. I want to lift people up through my writing. I want to show how people can reach success within their lives (I'm not talking about money either.) Thus farI have written and published (3) hard copy, novels and one E-book ranging from suspense to romance. I started in 2005 with Nappy is Good. It sold several copies. It was the true conversation piece. The following year people fell in love with a character named Skylar. He was the underdog and product of a single parent home in the hood of South East D.C. with a talent to share with the world. In 2011, we gave you 13th Round. This is a soft erotic, novel and romantic tale about two boxers that are in love with the gloves more than anything else. I could go on and on.
