Yuri Iserlis, PhD., graduated in 1961 from St-Petersburg Polytechnic State University as mechanical engineer, and completed his postgraduate studies at St-Petersburg Marine Technical University in 1972. Dr. Iserlis has devoted many years to the development of a methodology to optimize the design of complex machines like marine diesel engines and turbines, developed digital control and SCADA systems, conducted some projects based on theory and methods of Artificial Intelligence. He has worked as designer, researcher, analyst and scientist in various industries, education and medicine. Dr. Iserlis founded and operated the company, Intellectual System, Inc., in St-Petersburg, Russia, from 1992 to 1996, where he developed some real-time industrial intellectual systems. He has written and published more than seventy articles and books, and is credited with the development of several innovations. In 1996, Dr. Iserlis immigrated in the USA, and in 2002 founded his latest company, Clever Ace, in San Jose, California (www.cleverace.com).
