Because I grew up in a restrictive and controlling household, I turned to books at an early age for my escape. At the age of nine I totally immersed myself in Walter Farley's Black Stallion books, and each week, begged my mother to buy me the next one in the series. If it was one thing I was allowed, it was books to read, and read I did! For years I secretly dreamed of becoming a writer, and finally found the courage to chase that dream. It's a wonderful journey, and to know that there may be others out there that find adventure, chills, inspiration or solace in the words I create is the best compliment I could ever have.    

My Sci-Fi Romance novel, Stay in the Light, finished in the top ten of the Preditors and Editors Readers' Poll for best Sci-Fi Novel in 2004.

I had the honor of reading and signing at Joseph-Beth bookstore in August of 2009.
