Time after time events in life tend to repeat themselves.There is nothing new under the sun.Authors are witnesses of the present and inquirers about the past events.My philosophy of life is live and let's live.I belong to the empirical school of knowledge.Knowledge is acquired through an individuals experience based on recent and past exposure.The diction of western philosophy is all about reasoning and the same line of thought governs the African philosophy. Exposure to the works of Kwame Nkrumah,Julius Nyerere,Leopold Sedar Senghor,Sekou Toure,Nnamdi Azikiwe,Kenneth Kaunda,unfurl the need for total emancipation from socio-political and economic servitude.But unfortunately today,the reverse is the case;Africa as a continent remainsinterdependent to the developed nations of the world.This perhaps has made it a dumping ground for mediocrity and complexities emanating from Eurocentrism. Poetry to me is a medium for reaching out to the world at large.My muse emanates from socio-political and economic conflicts emanating from developing countries of the world and the society at large.Injustice is inconsistent with the pursuit for the preservation of human rights.Whosoever claims to be a social reformer and faills to give heed to the cry of the oppressed is living in deception. I believe that poetry is life and life is a reflection of poetry.I love nature and I often draw my inspiration from the natural elements of life and the great acts of God,the greatest of the greatest being in existence.My muse began to flower poetically in the early nineties while at the University of Ibadan. I have a book of poetry that was published in 2007,by PUBLISH AMERICA titled:TIDE OF THE TIMES.I also have  some of my poems in other anthologioes like SURRENDER TO THE MOON and tribute to MICHAEL JACKSON..I am married  to Funmilayo with two kids,Azu and Ada.
