I began gathering stories after attending my first 440th alumni reunion and heard so many great stories from other alumns who had served.  These men were not getting any younger and I realized tonce they stopped coming to reunions (or passed awy) that those stories would be gone as well.  This book is the result of over six years of  research and conversations with former 440th members.
