Kelly Buckley was born and raised in the province of Newfoundland and Labrador on Canada's East Coast. After working extensively in health care in various parts of Canada, she moved with her two sons to Charlotte, North Carolina and found a wonderful new life. In response to the unexpected death of her 23 year old son, Stephen, this life-long private writer took the courageous step of telling the story of her grief and the indomitable spirit of her first born. By putting her thoughts of gratitude to paper, Kelly was able to shift her perception of loss, as well as find comfort and purpose for the days ahead.
Kelly lives in Charlotte, North Carolina with her husband Brady, her son Brendan, and Rudy, their Wonder Dog. She continues to write every day. Gratitude in Grief is her first book.
