The world of ARMORICA was born for the first time when I was in the first grade, through a writing assignment characters of Dusgoroth began to take a rough shape, including knights, my favorite halloween costume, elves of all kinds and daemons from the depths of hell. Then I had no idea what this fantasy would become, not even a clue who J. R. R. Tolken was, who soon became my most prominent influence. Daydreams throughout my middle school career eventually took the form of a complete manuscript one summer vacation of my 5th grade year. At this stage however, writing remained nothing more than an escape from the everyday stresses of homework, annoying teachers and nagging parents. I had no intention of ever letting the world of Armorica exist outside my computer screen. Had it not been for the incessant goading of my parents, friends and grandparents, it would have remained locked inside my laptop forever. However, in the 7th grade I rewrote the novel, and then once again when I was 18, when the endless editing process began. Because my mom and I had edited the 450+ pages so many times, I decided I owed it to the characters of Armorica to at least attempt to get the book published. And so here I stand (well sit, as I'm typing this background information), with one book of a four book series published, inviting you to enter the realm of Armorica.
