Karen DeGroot Carter, a native of Syracuse, New York, Syracuse University alum, and mother of three, has contributed to print and on-line publications, worked in corporate communications, and written and edited articles, stories, and full-length works of fiction and non-fiction for more than 25 years. Her first novel, One Sister’s Song, was published by Pearl Street Publishing of Denver in 2002 and reprinted in 2004.
