I think it is best to write plainly about what brought me to write this book. This book started, in a way, when, as a small boy, I possessed an endlessly inquisitive mind. I wondered about everything. Nearly every older person I knew was an interesting, perhaps overeducated professor or doctor of some kind. My mouth produced a never ending stream of questions. After high school I attended the university. I was almost as bored as I had been in grade school, so I left formal academics for a few years and saw the world. In my search through various cultures, thought paradigms and adventures, I had the good fortune to receive guidance from several wise persons who were working and teaching outside of the university system. After a time I returned to formal studies and later graduated from two universities, where I received advanced degrees specializing in psychology and health science. I trained as a counselor and therapist. It had become clear to me that I would pursue my career and research somewhat independently. For me this was the correct decision. Over the next twenty years or so I was able to freely collaborate with brilliant colleagues and study the arts and sciences mostly unencumbered. In my research I have emphasized physics, music, anthropology, transcultural theology, securities investment, business management and internal system martial arts throughout my independent studies. My relative independence has enabled me to become a somewhat free thinker. I would like this book to speak for me. And I would like you to judge for yourself.  Central historical figures influential in creating this book include A. Einstein, the quantum physicists, W. Reich, G.I. Gurdjieff and the mythical (perhaps real) Don Juan Matus.
