Eunice Heath Tate was born in Jamaica. She currently resides in Florida. Her published works are When God Wasn't Looking, Scraping My Heart, and Background Noises. Her poetry, essays, and stories have appeared in journals such as The Caribbean Writer, Macomère, Calabash, Meridians, and in The Jamaican Gleaner.
