Phyliss F. Thomas wrote two books. Book #1 Titled - LIVE! LOVE! FORGIVE! Book #2 Titled - RECEIVE DAUGHTER OF ZION GUIDANCE FOR RAISING CHILDREN!!! It Is Two Books In One.  The First Book was written about the life of a young lady by the name of Talitha as a child and an adult. And where God brought her from to how he's blessed her now. This book also discusses how she (Talitha) was raised in the household with a sibling who had taken his father's medication when they were children. Talitha's brother was taken to the doctor and Talitha's mother was told Talitha's brother would suffer a slight brain damage. However, it turned out to be worst than what their mother was told by the doctor. In this book Talitha discusses how she (Talitha), her siblings and other family members were affected by things within the household which caused them to become angry, rebellious, lead in the wrong direction and make the wrong choices. Choices which caused setbacks in their lives. Although Talitha's mother was a hard worker without an education she was also a victim of abuse. Talitha's mother worked at a chicken poultry cleaning and tagging chickens; she was also a domestic housemaid - cleaning the homes of others for a meager little paycheck. Talitha's mother did this to maintain shelter, food and clothing for her children and earn an honest living for herself and her children. She (Talitha) knew how tired her mother had become trying to work those uncomfortable jobs to provide for her self and her children. Talitha also shares how her mother often talked about how she was unable to receive any type assistance outside the paycheck Talitha's mother received from her jobs and some help Talitha's mother received from her aunt who shared what she had to help Talitha's mother provide for her children. Talitha's mother was tired of struggling and she made a choice to marry someone who she felt loved her and she loved him. But later learned that wasn't a God choice. Talitha discusses how the individual was very abusive towards Talitha's mother and Talitha's siblings and how she (Talitha) escaped abuse; the man her mother married had wrong intentions towards Talitha. Talitha's stepfather seen he couldn't have his way with her (Talitha) and Talitha's stepfather became very angry towards Talitha's mother which is when he increased his ways of physical, emotional and mental abuse towards Talitha's mother. Talitha nor her mother gave in to Talitha's stepfather's plan. They stood strong against his plan. Talitha, her siblings and her mother survived. Talitha's mother had given up even when she tried to return to school so she could gain access to a better job. Talitha's mother's goal was to become a doctor but she had no faith in pursuing her dreams. Talitha's mother gave up on her dream! Talitha's mother went through many obstacles, shame, guilt and other things and no one to encourage her or help provide the major help she needed to help get her through her life crises so that she could pursue her dreams. This caused Talitha's mother to give up on her dreams. Talitha's mother trusted certain individuals to encourage her and help her through her circumstances so she could provide for her children, her self and help others (which was a part of her life). However, Talitha's mother was hurt by most individuals she'd placed her trust in. Another set back for Talitha's mother. Talitha's mother wasn't strong enough to fight for those things she desired to accomplish in life, so she settled for whatever was avaiable to her. Talitha discusses how she (Talitha) was able to fight through prayer, even though she (Talitha) faced some hardships, abuse and other stuggles it didn't stop her, she stood strong and fought her way through with God and prayer and she (Talitha) was able to win her battles and come out victorious. God manifested him self through (Talitha). Book #2 Titled - RECEIVE DAUGHTER OF ZION GUIDANCE FOR RAISING CHILDREN!!! This Second Book was written to help individuals understand how to raise their children based upon Biblical Principles without them or their children turning to the streets or without parent(s) having to make wrong choices to provide for themselves and their children; teach parents how to love their children; step up and be good parents to their children and provide for their children. This book discusses how those obstacles in Talitha's childhood and adult life motivated her enough to instruct others on how to never give up on life keep striving towards the call on their lives and how to become destined for greatness. Talitha needs to inform others how God can and God will do the impossible as well as the possible. And how God is able to take an individual from the bottom and placed them on the top. Both books are great instructions to help others live a Godly, prosperous and successful life. Both books are instructions to help individuals reach and gain access to all God's promises for themselves, their children and others; Both books will also help individuals become positive thinkers; develop and maintain faith; how to never quit, never give up, remain faithful; and how to never give in before receiving the rewards and promises of the Lord.                                               

Talitha met her goals and accompishments needed to move forward to be able to help others meet their goals and acomplishments in life. She Earned several Certifications and Awards. She's also a Licensed and Ordained Minister (Pastor) and a Certified Christian Counselor and Licensed Faith - Based Clinical Counselor. God also blessed her with all which was lost in all areas of her life including her education.
