From the time that I was a young girl I loved to write poetry or entries into my diary and journals.  I have been an avid reader thinking that one day I could read every book in the public library if I just started at the As and worked my way around in the fiction section.  Well, I haven't quite completed that feat but I am still working on it!  I am very proud to say that I am now a published author and one day my works will be among those that I have loved for so many years.  I guess that I don't have a favorite author but I loved reading Danielle Steele, Sandra Brown & Maeve Binchy just to name a few.  The old titles also drew my interest and titles like Grapes of Wrath, The Red Badge of Courage & Gone With the Wind.  Currently I am reading a fun book called The Friday Night Knitting Club by Kate Jacobs and I am at the half way point.  I was interviewed by one of our local television channels regarding my story and the book I wrote.  FOX 36 WUPW, the TALK BACK segments, featured me on January 28, 2011 - the day before my first book signing.  Check it out.

After waiting until I was in my 30s to go back to college to get my degree, I am proud to say that in 1993 I earned my Associates degree with a 4.0.
