Kathi was a vivacious girl, head cheerleader, popular in high school and brimming over with life. Margaret wanted to tell her story and she did in "18,No Time To Waste." It was to be for a few of her close friends, but the book became an immediate best-seller. Though the book was published in 1971, Kathi's story still resonates with teenagers and Margaret continues to receive letters from around the world.
Accomplishments
"Eighteen, No Time to Waste" sold over 400,000 copies and has been translated into many foreign languages. She received an award of excellence from "Campus Life" Magazine for this book and after its publication traveled throughout the country telling the story of her second daughter Kathi. Margaret subsequently published ten additional books.
