Reading Pierre Boulle "Planet of The Apes" fired my imagination and desire to someday write a novel.  I tried to watch the debacle of a film, but couldn't bring myself to finish it  after reading the the most imaginative novel ever. J.D. Sallinger, Joseph Wambaugh, Sue Grafton and Agatha Christie round out my favorite inspirational authors. 40 years in and out of commercial radio broadcasting  and law enforcement have given me many experiences and memories to be shared. (Being married to a published author & board member of a writers group helps.) The desire to create characters that the reader will want to get to know and to craft a story that is memorable are the goals for each novel I set out to write.
